Megan Wells

WELLS, Megan (nee Sewell) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th March. She was 75. Megan was born in Christchurch and attended Christchurch East, Linwood Intermediate and Aranui High School. She worked at Zone Accounts in the post office, then at Hart Wool and later on at Lempriere Wool. Before retiring, she was a Disability Support Coordinator at Hōhepa Canterbury. She was well known and admired in the show dog world, particularly in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels where she enjoyed much success. She also held positions on the Canterbury Cavalier KCS Club Executive and was a life member. She was an avid watcher of tennis, loved shopping, collecting art and spending time with her friends and family. Megan was a much loved mum, nana and great-nana and is survived by her sons, Jason, Paul and Dale, her grandchildren, Kayla, Riley, Dominic, Ethan and Jacob, and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Christchurch Hospital Respiratory Unit for their special care. She will be dearly missed.
